There are so many great xAPI (xAPI) related events and conference activities going on this quarter, many of them this month! Andrew pulled a list together—here’s a quick overview of what’s going on:

January

  • 14th-16th: ATD TechKnowledge. See here, here and here for lists of xAPI related sessions.
  • 21st: Webinar: Impacts of the Experience API: How 8 Companies are Using xAPI (xAPI). Register here.
  • 22nd: The Experience API in the Wild meetup in Seattle, Washington
  • 28th-29th: Learning Technologies in London, UK with many xAPI adopters exhibiting and running sessions. Email andrew.downes@tincanapi.com to arrange a one-on-one chat about xAPI during the conference.
  • 28th: xAPI Barcamp in London, UK in the evening between LT15UK conference days.
  • 29th: Mike Rustici is speaking at LearnTech 2015 in Karlsruhe, Germany. He’ll be doing casual group meetups to talk xAPI over dinner and drinks in Munich on January 30th and in Frankfurt on February 1st. Email me if you’d like to join.
  • 29th: Tim Martin is speaking at the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
  • 30th: ADL xAPI Design Cohort Season 3 kick off.

February

  • 5th: xAPI/Experience API pub meetup in Toronto 6-8pm in the Irish Embassy Pub.
  • 11th: Mike Rustici is speaking at Training 2015 Conference & Expo in Atlanta, Georgia. He’ll be doing a casual group meetup to talk xAPI over dinner and drinks in Atlanta on February 11th. Email me if you want to join!
  • 12th: Andy Whitaker is speaking at the ATD Chattanooga Chapter Meeting in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
  • 19th – March 12th: Introduction to the xAPI for eLearning Designers eLearning Guild live online course with Andrew Downes.

March

  • 24th: xAPI Camp in Orlando, Florida. Sign up if you’re heading to LSCon15 the next day, or even if you’re not!
