We’re excited to announce that Rustici Software will be heading to iFest August  27-29 in Alexandria, VA to spend a few days with ADL as well as government and industry partners to talk about the future of the eLearning ecosystem.

Our very own TJ Seabrooks will be speaking about the DoDI 1322.26 and how to decide when to use xAPI/cmi5 or SCORM now that the Instruction approves procuring eLearning tools that support both standards.  Even if the Instruction doesn’t apply to you, it’s a great session to help understand when and how to use SCORM and xAPI as each standard solves different problems. We’ll also share the presentation afterwards if you can’t attend but want to learn best practices for when and why to use xAPI or SCORM.

TJ will also be joining a panel discussion to discuss the current state of Learning Engineering with other leading industry experts.

So, if you’re planning on attending iFest, let us know. We’d love to connect with you!

Tammy knew what SCORM was several years before joining Rustici Software, and she’s not even a standards dork. She’s the Director of Accounts and Marketing, the general wearer of lots of hats. She’s also an Iron(wo)Man many times over.
