Get started with xAPI in my content or contact us instead!

xAPI gives content creators much more freedom.

Using xAPI for learning content and activities means that you’re no longer bound to the constraints of an LMS. It also means that you can have a central repository (LRS) to store all of the learning data that’s generated by your content, no matter where it lives.

As a xAPI activity creator, there are 3 things you should be looking into:

1. Creating

Creating xAPI-enabled activities is the first thing you’ll want to do as a content creator. If you’d like to take the DIY approach, then check out our resources section. We also have Javascript, .NET, Objective C, Java, & PHP libraries available.

If you have old SCORM or AICC content that you want to bring into a xAPI system, check out our SCORM to xAPI section. If you have old SCORM content that’s using SCORM Driver, then xAPI Driver is your ticket.

If you’d rather just talk to one of us about all of this, just get in touch with us.

If you’d like to get up and working much faster, you can use xAPI Driver or we’ll help you with some consulting.

2. Converting

If you’ve been in the content creation world for a while, then there’s a good chance that you’ve been using an older e-learning standard like SCORM or AICC. Well, we have a way for you to use your SCORM or AICC content to issue xAPI statements.

3. Analyzing

As an activity provider, you’ll benefit from knowing where and how your activities are being used out in the world. Your activities can send xAPI statements back to your own LRS, and you can track, improve, and measure anything that you want to about your activities.
